Marketa studied at Oxford School of Sport Massage (OSSM) graduating with BTEC level 5 diploma – the highest level possible in Sport and Remedial massage and Soft Tissue therapy. At OSSM, the training is of the highest standards in anatomy, physiology, practical application of massage, Muscle Energy Techniques and Soft Tissue Realise.

Marketa’s favourite sport is handball, which she played for over 11 years. These days, she concentrates on down hilling and mountain biking. These sports are very physically demanding and DH is classified as an extreme sport. She also enjoys a game of table tennis in her spare time.

Therefore, she is well aware of what impact non-treated injuries can have on performance. She has treated fellow bikers, friends, ex colleagues and general public not only after injuries but also as a preventative measure.

Marketa also massaged for one season the ladies team at the Oxford City Rowing Club and helped a few members with their aches and pains at the Oxford Archers Club.
